About

  • Radish pods are one my FAVORTIE treats from the garden that you cant find anywhere else.
  • They are the seed pod of the radish plant. They only happen when you let the radish continue to grow and flower.
  • Taste like a sugar snap pea with a tiny bit of spice. They taste green and crunchy, sweet but that little bit of spice. They mellow out when cooked.

Prep

  • Best to refrigerate
  • The stems should be removed they are fibrous. They are easily removed by hand.

Uses & Recipes

  • They can be used any way you would use a snap pea or green bean.
  • Fresh in a salad
  • Raw as is or dipped in a dressing or hummus.
  • Seared (my favorite way!)
  • Pickled
  • Mixed in a stir fry
  • Steamed
  • Roasted in the oven
