About
- Radish pods are one my FAVORTIE treats from the garden that you cant find anywhere else.
- They are the seed pod of the radish plant. They only happen when you let the radish continue to grow and flower.
- Taste like a sugar snap pea with a tiny bit of spice. They taste green and crunchy, sweet but that little bit of spice. They mellow out when cooked.
Prep
- Best to refrigerate
- The stems should be removed they are fibrous. They are easily removed by hand.
Uses & Recipes
- They can be used any way you would use a snap pea or green bean.
- Fresh in a salad
- Raw as is or dipped in a dressing or hummus.
- Seared (my favorite way!)
- Pickled
- Mixed in a stir fry
- Steamed
- Roasted in the oven
