These are the popsicle molds I used. Each holds 3 oz.
"Margarita" Popsicles
Easiest Boozy popsicles around!
Course Dessert, Drinks, Snack
- 12.5 oz Margarita Mix or Lemonade
- 2.5 oz alcohol of choice, tequila (I use vodka because we always have it)
Mix margarita mix/lemonade with alcohol in a container that is easy to pour from.
Stand up popsicle molds in a cup or wide mouth container.
Fill each popsicle with 3 oz of liquid, leaving head space for ice to expand.
Add lids and freeze for a few hours.
The ratio of juice/liquid to alcohol is 5:1.
The popsicles won't ever freeze hard. The alcohol keeps them a little slushy.
Do NOT run the mold through the dishwasher. Mine got a soap scent locked into them. I had to soak them in vinegar and then baking soda and you can still kinda smell it.
